First Time Caller Filming at Slackers Grill in Melboure, Fla.

On Sunday, July 13, 2003, Hollywood came to Slackers Grill in Melbourne, Florida. "First Time Caller" is produced by Boy in the Drain Productions of San Francisco. Slackers employees and customers (including myself) were used as extras in the filming today.

The film stars David Alan Basche as "Dale" an AM radio DJ with a call in program. In the film, Dale is a regular at Slackers Grill. The FBI investigates when a caller alleges to be an alien.

Co-starring is Chris Elliot, Thomas Gibson, Ed Helms, Patrick Warburton, and Fred Willard. Filming continues tomorrow at Gatorland Zoo Park in central Florida where Chris Elliot portrays a gator trapper.

Update 10/17/2006: The film will premier as "I'll Believe You" at the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival in Melbourne, Florida on November 11, 2006
